Nice reminder and so true. I realized this first hand when I completely forgave my dad. It was liberating and a new relationship has grown out of it. One not clinging to the past, but creating a fresh, new, loving, and accepting future.

I think it is true that sometimes we hold on to things/people that don't fit in our lives anymore for whatever reason. That is ok, cause the only constant is change.  Sticking with those things that do not fit in our lives only makes us feel a type of friction in our lives. We are changing each day, growing in new ways. "Like a snake shedding its skin" as the video says. I think in my 30's this has been especially true, shedding old and embracing new.
